Biography

I am the fisrt and only female surgeon in Colombia with a Fellowship in MIS and bariatric surgery, I went to Stanford University and Washington University during my fellowship to learned more about bariatric and foregut surgery. my clinic has a highly qualified group for the comprehensive management of obesity with methods such as balloon and surgery as well as for the management of hernia and foregut pathologies. we also manage regain weight .I have been managing high complexity for more than 12 years with excellent results for patients. I have the support of clinics with high quality standards like Clinica Farallones and Clinica Sebastian de Benalcazar in Cali. I am member of SAGES, ASMBS, AHA, IFSO, EAES and I am a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I have many articles about my experience in bariatric and foregut surgery in prestigious scientific journals and actively participate in academic activities. I am a pioneer in Colombia in training for surgeons in America.
