Biography
I am Internist & Rheumatologist . I have a long experience seeing patients with all kind of rheumatica diseases, especially Fibromialgya , Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus . I am an Associated Professor of Medicine at Universidad del Norte and former President of the Colombian Rheumatology Association and the Panamerican League of Associations of Rheumatology PANLAR (2016-18). My research interests include rheumatoid arthritis and the use of new technologies for medical education. With more than 100 articles in indexed journals (ISI, Scopus) and 3 books including Challenges to the diagnosis and treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis in Latin America (2006). I am included as one of the top 500 hundred researchers in my country. I have been a speaker in major rheumatology meetings around latin america including major world rheumatology meetings.
